MedinaCHF Case Study, Cost Corrections, and ForgeKit's Vision and Purpose
August 13, 2026
Built a full MedinaCHF case-study funnel with real, verified numbers after two wrong figures were caught by Zeb, then used the same session to reconcile ForgeKit's commercial and participatory identities into one CLAUDE.md north star.
Timeline
What shipped
/medinachf/case-study — full narrative case study, later rewritten for a human/prospect voice and trimmed
/medinachf/story — 90-second quick-story page, links to the full case study
/case-studies — rebuilt index, MedinaCHF as lead entry
New homepage section: 'After It Ships' / 'You own it. You don't maintain it alone.' — states the ownership vision concretely, then honestly names where it stands today
/humanitys-workshop — new, quiet, explicitly-experimental public page, linked from /research, not primary nav
New 'Sound Familiar?' storefront photo sourced and swapped in (Pexels, license-checked)
CLAUDE.md 'Vision and Purpose' section — Owned Software + Humanity's Workshop as two expressions of one purpose
CLAUDE.md Apps table — added missing products/medinaCHF, products/alloy, products/corpus rows, each grep-verified
Paired Anvil + Strike recorded in forgekit-os/journal/ for the Vision and Purpose reframe, with a same-day correction entry
Header notes added to forgekit-company-thesis-decision.md, forgekit-portfolio-evidence-map.md, forgekit-public-narrative-architecture.md marking the prior framing superseded while preserving their factual findings
“The actual challenge is getting the OS proper so that agentic software assurance can happen hands off... claiming the bar met when one other person does it is pretty lame and not a good look.”
