Your Street's
Story.
What did your neighborhood look like in 1950? What was on that corner before the gas station? We're building a local history tool — and we need people who know.
Flyback lets you see any place from above, across time. We want to connect those aerial images to the stories that actually happened there. That's where you come in.

An aerial time machine
with the stories attached.
Flyback already shows aerial photography of any location from the 1940s to today. You can see how a street changed, what was there before, how the town grew.
The next step is attaching real stories to those images — not just “this is Medina Square in 1962,” but what that place meant to the people who were there.
That requires people. People with photos, records, and memories. People from here.
What We Need
Old Photos
Aerial shots, street-level photos, family pictures with identifiable locations from decades past.
Local Knowledge
You remember what was on that corner before the gas station. We need people who know Medina's stories.
Written Records
Newspaper clippings, family histories, church records, anything that anchors a story to a place.
Oral History
Stories passed down that aren't written anywhere. If it lives in someone's memory, we want to capture it.
